The name of this club is OTV Lummen.

At this club we saw people working with all kinds of breeds and we decided to buy a Malinois (Belgian Shepard).

This was for me an evident choice, because, when we visited OTV the first time, i saw a Malinois at work. The speed and high temper, inspired me to buy a Malinois.
Through OTV-Lummen i contacted Guido Bervoets, owner of the Malinois-kennel “Van Tessinys”. They just had a litter, and a puppy named Athena, she became part of our family and was my real start into the world of working dogs.

Welcome

In 1982 i visited a Dobermann Club in the village where we lived. The view of people working with those beautiful animals
made me beg my parents for a Dobermann puppy.
At my birthday i got a beautifull bitch named
“ Farah van de Guskeshoeve”. Farah was a high temperred
and nice dog who became the founding bitch of the
world famous “Van Roveline” Dobermann kennel.
Feel free to browse to my parents web-page : “ Van Roveline” .

Although my parents stopped breeding in 2000, you will still
find the Roveline bloodlines in most of the winning
Dobermann’s of today.

Together with my wife, Kristie, we started a dobermann
kennel of our own named after our two children
Liesbeth and Thomas
; dobermann-kennel Van ‘t Liethohof.
After beïng involved in working Dobermann’s to get their
Schutzhund and ZTP training, we visited a all-breed
dogclub in Lummen.

At OTV i came in contact with Stephan Youck, who, in those days
worked with a Dobermann, Xantos van ’t Steendorp, a male,
widely known for his fantastic “man-work” which he demonstrated
at several IDC ( International Dobermann Club ) World Championships.

With Stephan’s help i succeeded in bringing Athena up to the level
she present herself in today.
I would say ”a rather excellent IPO 3, working dog.
